Explorer Program - Live Field Trips

Cost for an in-person trip is $10 per student. To reserve your space, you will need to pay half of the rate of your group size via credit card online or a mailed check. Please put in a number "1" in the quantity of the group size that applies to your students. If paying by check, put the number "1" in the quantity box.

This amount will be applied to your remaining balance the day of your program. 1 chaperone receives complimentary admission per 10 students. A maximum of 6 chaperones will be permitted. Any chaperones not included in the reservation will separately pay the regular admission rate. A receipt will be given to you at the time of payment. Final payments are due the day of your scheduled field trip.

If you'd like to register for more than one field trip, please fill out one form for each trip. All LIVE field trips at Fairchild take place Monday-Friday and are three hours long, beginning at 10:00 a.m until 1:00 p.m. 

Sample Schedule:

10:00 am – 10:15 am: Group arrives at Garden + introduction

10:15 am – 11:15 am: Guided tour around Garden

11:15 am – 12:15 pm: Lunch and bathroom break

12:15 pm -1:00 pm: Wrap up activity + group departs Garden

You will see that June 29th is the date on our payment site. This is not the date of your program, just a database setting. Your program dates will be confirmed for the days you select after filling out this request form.  Click here to view our available dates.
